My Life As Mcdull<3> - The Alumni (China Version)
Little piglets McMug and McDull are two Hong Kong-made anime characters loved by people of all ages. Unlike My Life as McDull and McDull, Prince de la Bun which are cartoons, McDull, The Alumni is a live action/animated combo in which McDull and his animal friends interact with over forty popular stars. Eric Tsang, Kelly Chen, Anthony Wong Chau Sang, Ronald Cheng, Gigi Leung, Nicholas Tse, Sandra Ng, and even famous cinematographer Christopher Doyle all become alumni of the "Springfield Kindergarten" which McDull attends.
Director Samson Chiu once created Golden Chicken by gathering big stars to tell the Hong Kong story. McDull, The Alumni follows the same successful formula, articulating different aspects of Hong Kong people's everyday life through abundant jokes. Despite the alumni's different roles in the society, ranging from office worker, massage girl, undercover cop, BBQ butcher to chicken feet de-boner or even robber, they all share one common goal: to make enough money for their meals. Co-produced by Peter Chan (director of Perhaps Love) and Brian Tse (creator of the previous McDull movies), McDull, The Alumni promises the audience, kids and adults alike, a non-stop laugher for 98 minutes!
