A car which transporting several billion dollars is caught in a traffic jam. Robbers come from all different directions. The person in charge of this heist is a beautiful young girl Young Ling (Michelle Yeoh). The police put Senior Inspector Cheung (Kent Cheng) to be in charge of this case. Lam (George Lam), the representative from the insurance company, also joins the investigation, but their differing working ethics cause them much disagreement. Lam flies over to Paris, where Young is having a vacation. Lam tries to approach Young. Young knows Lam's intention. They are fatally attracted to each other! Meanwhile, Cheung arrests and tortures Chan, who has taken part in the heist. Young mistakes this as Lam's trap to get her. Their love affair has to be ended. Cheung follows Young's trail all over Europe, and Young fights back with vehemence. Much moved by Lam's sincerity, Young agrees to surrender the money. But Cheung does all he can to sabotage their truce. Young replays the heist......
