Aisin Giorro Puyi is the last emperor in the feudal history of China. His complicated whole life and final good ending were rare and unique among " last emperors" in China or other countries of modern and ancient times, which makes the focus of world attention.
The Last Emperor is delicately produced and it consists of twenty - eight episodes which present authentically the process of Puyi from ascending the throne at the age of three to becoming an ordinary citizen later after liberation. The grand scale and some magnificent scenes or occasions in the play are unprecedented in the Chinese teleplay history.
