Ethan Poe, a young writer and descendent of Edgar Allan Poe, is trying to meet the deadline for his next book. After moving to a small town, he meets and falls for Ann, a distant relative of his ancestor, only to find the new love affair seems to have something to do with the mysterious disappearances of family members. When female murder victims start showing up all over town with Poe-related clues all over them, Ethan becomes the prime suspect.
