Gabriel(christian campbell) is a young, gay aspring musical theatre writer/composer whose life seems to be stuck in the first act. He shares a tiny one-roon apartment wiht Rich(Brad Beyer), whose robust and heterosexual love life has left Babriel sleeping in the hallway. He is best friends with Kathering(Tori Spelling), a struggling off-off-off broadway actress who bulldozes through his life and his musical numbers with equal bravoado. His theatre colleague perry(steve Hayes) thinks poor Gabriel's work is as bland and safe as his life. If you want to change the former, perry believes, you've got to shake up the latter.
