Zatoichi, the blind swordman, finds a woman in labor in desolate field. Although he delivers her baby, the woman dies. Zatoichi takes the infant to seek the baby's father, Sataro. However, Sataro thinks Zatoichi stole his wife's money and killed her. A fierce battle cannot be avoided.
