Ming Yuet and Shun Leung have been lovers since college. After graduation, they both enter the field of counseling, aiming to help young people living on the edge of the society.
Early one morning, Yuet receives a page from Yee, claiming that she has been sexually abused after a amphetamine overdose, and she is ready to kill herself. Yuet arrives in time to stop her from doing so. While Leung receives a call from Albert after he has been caught shlolifting. Leung tries his best to beg for pardon. But as soon as Albert leaves the police station, Albert returns to his old self. Supervisor Chung is pleased with Yuet's handling of Yee's case, and has hinted that she would be nominated as social worker of the year.
