During the day Nagashima is an elite dentist, and at night he plays alto sax with a jazz ensemble. Moneyed, he owns a flashy Jaguar and a gorgeous house. He dotes on women, but has no intention of ever getting tied down by marriage. Suffering from insomnia recently, he looks for a really nice girl who will make him so tired that he can sleep at night.

Nagashima has been going on with Mari for quite a while and is getting tired of her. But Mari is persistent and even asks him to marry her. Nagashima has no other choice but asks his sister Ruriko, who works as a nurse in his clinic, to help get rid of Mari.
