Settling into his role as the new Chief of Police in the town of Paradise, Massachusetts, Stone investigates the brutal murder of a trouble teenage girl found floating in a local lake. He soon discovers that she was once a straight-A student, but somehow wound up in a path of self-destruction, leading to her early demise.
