A music producer,composer and vocalist,imee Ooi is an emerging star in the Buddhist musical scene.She was born in a musical family.Her grandfather plays the piano,her grandmother taught singing and her mother is a piano teacher.Quite naturally imee learned music early.
She attained a piano degree,taught piano and spontaneously composed and arranged music.in 1996,imee had been inspired by the album,which was very popular,and she began to compose the music for.Her work received rave reviews.
This has prompted her to publish more than ten buddhist album--including the internationally acclaimed.Imee Ooi's buddhist music is becoming an important representative in the Buddhist musical culture.
